We’ve been really busy the past couple of months creating a new Help Centre website for all tenants who are either using, or thinking about using HomeSwapper. And we’re now very pleased to say that it’s launched!
The new Help Centre website is packed full of useful tips and advice for using HomeSwapper to make sure that everyone is getting the most out of it and using it in the best way possible. If you’re curious about mutual exchange or HomeSwapper our new Help Centre website will give you the information you need to make a decision on whether it’s right for you. Beyond that, it’s designed to take you all the way through from the moment you sign up and create your advert, to finding matches and going through the swapping process.
Here we take you through the key elements of the new Help Centre to help you find your way around…
The Help Centre is laid out so that you can easily see the stages you need to go through depending on where you are in your journey:
If you’re brand new to swapping and want to know what it’s all about > go to the New to Swapping option in the menu
If you’ve decided you want to use HomeSwapper and want to register > go to the Getting Started option in the menu
If you’re an experienced swapper but you haven’t found your swap yet > go to the Still Looking option in the menu
From each of these you will be able to see an overview of the information you’ll need to help you, as well as directions towards more detailed information from other areas of the site.
Swapper Blog
The new blog area is where you’ll find all our articles from SwapperCentral containing advice on everything from using the HomeSwapper site, to understanding mutual exchange, as well as helpful tips on setting up viewings and moving house.
At the top of the page you’ll find the latest articles for you to read:
Further down the page, you’ll see a section where you can look for articles based on a specific topic:
Need help?
Our Need help? section contains a series of ‘How to’ guides and videos, as well as a Your questions section with all the answers to your general queries.
Our ‘How to’ guides take you step-by-step through some of the main processes on HomeSwapper. The topics for these include:

- How to: Use messaging
- How to: Delete locations
- How to: Reset your password
- How to: Close your account
Within each of these articles you will be taken through the steps in detail with images, as well as having a ‘Shortcut’ view of the processes for each stage:
